North Lodge, Lancaster
A beautiful period property in an outstanding location yet a couple of minutes drive from Lancaster city centre or 10 minutes walk. We may allow one pet by pre-agreement only. Number 1 North Lodge can be booked along with Number 2 North Lodge next door for group accommodation there is a large parking area and outdoor space for family get togethers and stag, hen and wedding parties.
Lancaster is a bustling city with many popular bars and excellent restaurants, it also home to a great live music scene and fantastic nightlife. The well known Highest Point Festival takes place at Williamsons Park in Lancaster, all within easy reach of the lodge.
1 North Lodge: Ground floor has a fully fitted kitchen with oven hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine and breakfast bar. A large lounge with smart TV and sofas, there is also a beautiful ground floor bathroom. The lodge sleeps 5 in the upstairs bedrooms, additional pull out beds can be supplied for more guests if required.
2 North Lodge: The ground floor has a large kitchen/diner/lounge which easily accommodates 10 people for dining. The lounge area has a large sofa and smart TV making it ideal to relax in comfort. There is a study/4th bedroom which sleeps 2 next door to a fully fitted family bathroom on the ground floor, perfect for people with mobility issues.

Group bookings are available at North Lodge for larger parties, in total the two properties have seven bedrooms and can sleep up to twelve people, 1 North Lodge has:

After a busy day touring the city of Lancaster or walking through the diverse landscapes of the Lake District, seven inviting bedrooms await for you to rest your head, a convenient ground-floor bathroom hosts a bath for long, relaxing soaks in the tub as well as a shower for quick rinses.
Why not make the most of this pleasant location by dining alfresco at the outdoor seating on warmer nights?
Savour your morning coffee with some peace and quiet at the small patio area, tiered garden areas surrounded by the most beautiful trees or let any stress roll right off your shoulders in the sheltered, outdoor hot tub. Guests also have access to store bikes to explore more of your rural surroundings and two well-behaved pets have plenty of room to roam.
If you can tear yourself away from this divine property, be sure to spend a day in Lancaster; plenty of shops and eateries are on offer to fuel your day, whilst attractions include the 12th-century Lancaster Castle hosting a museum, talks and great activities for young historians, the fascinating Maritime Museum and the wonderful Williamson Park with its iconic domed skyline memorial offering panoramic views.
Visit the Lancaster Brewery or any of the various Restaurants /cocktail bars/pubs that makes Lancaster an amazing weekend stay. Like performing arts? we have two of the best theatres – The Dukes and The Grand both historic showing a variety of plays and entertainment. Various live music events in the area, including the famous HIGHEST POINT festival.
Morecambe Bay is just next door along the coast for strolling along the picturesque promenade with an ice cream in hand, letting your canine companions run free on the dog-friendly beach, before ending the day with dinner out in a seafront restaurant.
Lace up your hiking boots and venture into the Forest of Bowland AONB where unspoilt, tranquil landscapes await to escape the hustle and bustle. This is also an excellent location for experiencing mountain hikes, river cruises and quaint villages scattered across the Lake District National Park.
